Some positive notes in a bad budget year

CORNWALL — Collection of overdue taxes brought greater-than-anticipated revenue to the town, as discussed by the selectmen at their Tuesday, July 18, meeting in reviewing year-end figures to be submitted to the finance board.

“The town clerk took in more fees than budgeted,” First Selectman Gordon Ridgway reported, reviewing the revenue side of the fiscal year that ended June 30, 2017.
