Railroad Days ends with a bang

NORTH CANAAN — There was a large turnout for the Canaan Fire Company annual firefighters parade on Saturday, July 15, which included fire units from around Connecticut, Massachusetts and New York and featured marchers and trucks.

Next to the parade, the McDonald’s/Canaan Auto Supply Cruise Night was in full swing. There were about 70 vehicles on display, including a 1965 Compact Shelby Cobra and Tom Jaycox’s Jaguar XK 120 roadster (Jaycox is the owner of Jaycox Jaguar in North Canaan).
