Museum, brewery in the works at train station

Of course everyone was keen to see the inside of the refurbished Union Station train depot; it was the end of the 53rd Railroad Days events, after all.

Selectman (and project manager) Charlie Perotti led tours of the interior on Saturday, July 15. 

“It’s been an uphill battle, but we are finally gaining on it,” he said, referring to the many years it has taken to get construction underway. Almost 16 years since the fire, the station looks whole, at least from the outside.
