Monsignor Charles Coen, an All-Ireland Champion musician, is readying himself for his upcoming performance at the opening night concert for Catskills Irish Arts Week in East Durham, N.Y. It is about an hour’s drive from the Northwest Corner of Connecticut, across the Hudson River.

Coen served at St. Christopher’s Church in Red Hook, N.Y., and for many years he ran a series of wonderful twice monthly traditional Irish music concerts and sessions at The old Rhinecliff Hotel in Rhinecliff, N.Y.
