Stissing Mountain athletes make their mark, despite losses

PINE PLAINS — There’s no denying it — Stissing Mountain High School has had a talented bunch of student athletes pass through its hallways this year.


After an incredibly successful season — with a winning record of 18-5 — the girls varsity softball team fell in the state championship finals against Bishop Kearney, 4-3, on Saturday, June 10.
