Pedestrian crosswalk plan moves a step

CORNWALL — A pedestrian-activated signal will soon help ensure safety in West Cornwall village. The selectmen voted to approve spending for an engineering plan for the signal at their May 16 meeting.

The selectmen expect to get a state grant to pay for the installation work, estimated at between $10,000 and $15,000.
