Town turns out to help pay for lifesaving device

KENT — The line was out the door for the Kent Volunteer Fire Department (KVFD) spaghetti dinner fundraiser on Friday, May 12, an event co-sponsored by the Kent Republican Town Committee. The menu that had enticed them all out included spaghetti, meatballs in tomato sauce, fresh salad and homemade apple pie à la mode for dessert. In all, 173 people attended.
