Depot should be done by the end of August

NORTH CANAAN — Red tape, paperwork and bureaucracy have once again slowed progress at the former Union Station train depot in North Canaan — but there is an end in sight.

The renovation was supposed to be done by the middle of this month. And in fact, much of it has been completed (including an elegant green-yellow-red paint job on the east end of the building).
