Eva Stengade is a Danish artist who thinks big. Four of her enormous, dreamy paintings — one is 12 feet by 18 feet — of the interiors of New York City subway cars, peopled by denizens of the metropolis in their varied nationalities, colors and shapes, are now on exhibit at Torrington’s Five Points Gallery.
