Support, concern about Bend

CORNWALL – Soil conditions on 3 acres of formerly industrial land that is now slated for reclaiming for town recreational use were of concern to residents who attended the March 7 meeting of the Board of Selectmen.

Although the proposed project to enhance recreational access to the Housatonic River is viewed positively by most residents, those attending the meeting urged selectmen to proceed carefully with regard to the former industrial site, now owned by Eversource, the power company.
