Destined Wind Farm looks to sell development rights


AMENIA — At its meeting on Thursday, Jan. 19, the Amenia Town Board began with an informational presentation by Karin Roux of Dutchess Land Conservancy (DLC).

Roux explained that DLC has requested support from the town of Amenia for a funding application to Dutchess County’s Partnership for Manageable Growth (PMG) to purchase development rights on the Destined Wind Farm property. The farm is bordered on the north by Route 343, on the south by Yellow City Road and flanked on the northwest by the Harlem Valley Rail Trail.
