Residents want Bakerville School to remain open


NEW HARTFORD —  Residents overwhelmingly voted that they wanted to see Bakerville School to remain open at an advisory referendum held on Tuesday, March 15.

According to the town’s official website at www.town.new-hartford.ct.us, 1,275 residents voted for the school to remain open, while 487 residents voted for the school to be closed.

In December, the Board of Education unanimously decided to close Bakerville School, located at 51 Cedar Lane.
