BARKHAMSTED — The First Congregational Church of Barkhamsted held its annual living nativity Christmas Pageant during its regular worship service on Sunday, Dec. 20.

The play is a re-enactment of the birth of Jesus Christ and even includes a live donkey brought in by congregation member, Kay Page Greaser.

Greaser said she lives just down the street and enjoys bringing her donkey, Patches, to visit with the children and help get everyone in the holiday spirit.
