Historical Society dances the night away

BARKHAMSTED —  The Barkhamsted Historical Society held a pig roast and dance on Saturday, Oct. 3.

The society was at Squires Tavern on 100 East River Road, which is across the street from People’s State Forest.

The tavern is operated by the society, and the building is used as a museum to display and store many historical artifacts.

Originally the dance was going to be held in the barn right next to the tavern.
