Town celebrates New Hartford day at Brodie Park

NEW HARTFORD — The 42nd New Hartford Day was held at Brodie Park on Sunday, Sept. 20.

According to co-organizer Mary Lee Dunn, who organizes the event with Sally O’Neill, the activity started in 1976 as part of Bicentennial celebrations.

“It’s grown a lot over the years,” Dunn said. “We are the only two organizers because we found that it’s easier than having a big committee because you can never get people to meetings.”
