Town hosts Sharon Audubon at event

COLEBROOK — The town’s Community Center was packed on Friday, April 25, when the Colebrook Land Conservancy hosted Erin O’Connell, a wildlife rehabilitator from the Sharon Audubon Center.

During the program, children crowded in to see better as O’Connell revealed Bob, a live American kestrel. 

This small falcon found in open habitat can see the urine trail of a rodent in ultraviolet, she said, though its favorite food is grasshoppers.
