BARKHAMSTED —  The movie theater at Mallory Brook Shopping Plaza at 380 New Hartford Road reopened on Friday, Feb. 20.

For many years the theater was owned by Torrington-based Cinerom LLC.

The company sold the theater in 2010 to New York City-based Cinema Holdings Group.

In November 2013, the theater shut down and the owners announced that it would reopen after digital movie projection technology was installed.
