Marking Civil War’s anniversary

NORFOLK — More than 250 residents attended a concert performed by the Litchfield County Choral Union held at the Norfolk Music Shed on Sunday, July 27.

The concert theme was “Music for Patriots and Politicians” and was held in celebration of the 150th anniversary of the Civil War.

Union member Sue Grande said the Choral Union was started more than 100 years ago by the Battell Family who believed that everyone should be able to enjoy music.
