Norfolk Library holds summer reading program kickoff

NORFOLK — A Summer Reading kickoff event was held at the Norfolk Library on Monday, June 30.

“Fizz Boom Read” is the national summer reading theme this year as organized by the national Collaborative Summer Library Program.

As part of the national program, the kickoff event was all about “Slimy Science” and featured a magician from Mad Science of Western New England with the program coordinated by Eileen Fitzgibbons, children’s librarian at the library.
