Ford wows the crowd at Norfolk Library

NORFOLK — Pianist Michael Ford performed on Saturday, Feb. 22, at the Norfolk Library before an audience of more than 75 people, among them resident Carol Hammond.

“He plays wonderfully,” Hammond said after the concert. “To have such a famous musician perform at our library is great. I enjoyed the concert immensely.”

Ford, who performed his first public concert when he was 6 years old, made his symphony orchestra concert debut at 13.

Since 1996 he has collaborated with children’s book author and illustrator, Sandra Boynton on children’s albums.
