The Norfolk Curling Club held a celebratory barbecue for more than 100 residents and supporters on Saturday, Aug. 10.

The event was held on a property next to its clubhouse at 90 Golf Drive, which is currently being rebuilt.

The original clubhouse, built in 1956, was burned to the ground by two admitted arsonists on Dec.18, 2011.

No one was hurt in the fire, but everything in the clubhouse, including an ice rink, equipment, irreplaceable curling stones and other memorabilia, was destroyed.
