PTO hosts second annual wine tasting benefit

COLEBROOK — The Colebrook Consolidated School Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) held a successful second annual wine tasting fundraiser on Friday, Nov. 16, at the Colebrook Community Center.

According to co-organizer and PTO President Hope Carfiro, 75 residents attended the event, about 15 more than last year.

Attendees got to taste a large variety of wine supplied by the Ledgebrook Spirit Shop which donated 10 percent of purchases to the PTO.

Wines sampled included such brands as Blackstone, Gnarley Head, Woodbridge and La Quercia.
