Sharon Craft Fair is coming Aug. 4

SHARON — The 53rd annual Sharon on the Green Arts and Crafts Fair will be held on Saturday, Aug. 4, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The yearly fair is sponsored by the Board of Recreation and Youth. Sharon Recreation Director Matt Andrulis Mette said it was started by the Sharon Woman’s Club as a clothesline show but was eventually taken over as a recreation department fundraiser, with vendors paying a fee to take part. There are also vendors selling food, including some that are raising funds for other nonprofits in town.

Entry to the fair is free of charge.
