Fitch’s Corner hosts horse trials

MILLBROOK — From July 20 to 22, riders and spectators flooded Fitch’s Corner Horse Trials to attend the Area One Championships. In addition to world-class equestrian eventing, the weekend offered a collector-car parade sponsored by Mercedes Benz, a Blue Jean Ball on Saturday and a Spectator Luncheon on Sunday (complete with a show of glamorous outfits and noteworthy hats, on the men and women who attended) and fair featuring everything from rubber boots to art photography and jewelry (and, of course, designer hats).
