Pine Plains alumni gather at reunion that spans the years

PINE PLAINS — Alumni from the Pine Plains Central School District (many from before Stissing Mountain High School was even built) met Saturday, July 21, at the Lions Club Pavilion for the inaugural All Classes Reunion.

Decked out in blue and white (the school colors), the pavilion housed former students of all ages who shared memories, mementos and plenty of hugs.

The phrase “I haven’t seen you in so long,” followed quickly by an embrace, could be heard and seen repeatedly throughout the day.

Linda Clough and Luane Ballantine, both of the class of 1979, spearheaded the event.
