Colebrook band holds first-ever concert

COLEBROOK — Pride and patriotism were displayed on the Colebrook Green Wednesday, July 4, as the Colebrook Concert Band held its first-ever concert.

The band, 24 musicians from throughout the Northwest Corner, played patriotic songs including “The Star Spangled Banner” and “America the Beautiful.”

Kenneth Andresen, who co-founded the band with resident trumpeter Matthew Hodgkin, conducted. Both live in Colebrook.
