Torrington’s Keiser one-hits Outlaws in convincing win

TORRINGTON­ — The Torrington Rebels defeated the Lakeville Outlaws 2-0 on June 28 at at Fuessenich Park.

Matt Keiser pitched a complete game one-hitter, propelling the Rebels to a win, in what seemed like a one-sided game.

Keiser confused the Outlaw bats, striking out five, while also being efficient by only walking one batter the entire game.

The Rebels defense assisted Keiser in shutting out the Outlaws.

The bats for the Rebels produced eight hits and two runs off opposing pitcher Brandon Coe.
