Assemblyman Miller talks to BOE

WEBUTUCK — The Webutuck Board of Education hosted a presentation by state Assemblyman Joel Miller during its regular meeting on Monday, June 18.

Miller represents New York State Assembly District 102 and will not be running for re-election at the end of his term.

Miller was asked by the board to address three main topics: Race to the Top, mandate relief and projects for the future.

Race to the Top

Race to the Top is a contest created by the United States Department of Education worth $4.35 billion; it was the first issue Miller addressed.
