PINE PLAINS — Nolan Talbot is a very impressive and very punctual 11-year-old who attends Seymour Smith Intermediate Learning Center.

Not only does he attend school, but he has never missed a day since he started kindergarten six years ago.

Nolan will receive an award for his perfect attendance during the fifth-grade moving up ceremony on Friday, June 22, assuming his record remains unbroken.

His secret to success?

“I don’t really get sick that much and I always set my alarm,” he said.
