Katharyn O’ Loughlin

LAKEVILLE­­ — Katharyn “Kay” Crane O’Loughlin of Newport, N.C., formerly of Lakeville, died Saturday, March 12, 2012.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on June 23 at Saint Mary’s Cemetery in Lakeville.

She was born in Quincy, Mass., in 1920, the daughter of Estelle (Nims) and Donald P. Crane.

Mrs. O’Loughlin served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and was employed as a lab and X-ray technician with The Hotchkiss School for 29 years.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas James O’Loughlin; three children; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a sister; a brother, and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends after the service.
