Iconic white oak gets new life as HVRHS podium

FALLS VILLAGE — An unveiling ceremony for a new podium was held at Housatonic Valley Regional High School (HVRHS) on Friday, June 8. The podium was a gift to the school from the HVRHS class of 1961, which celebrated its 50th reunion last year. The presentation was made by Ernest “Mickey” Riva, Dean Hammond and Martin Whalen, all members of the class of 1961.
