Top students announced at Housatonic

FALLS VILLAGE — Housatonic Valley Regional High School has announced the top 10 students for the class of 2012.

Students are ranked by a weighted grade point average.

The valedictorian is the top-ranked student and the salutatorian the second-ranked student.

The valedictorian this year is Emma Okell, and the salutatorian is Sebastian Lasseur.

The speaker at this year’s graduation is Helen Hare, class of 2005, originally of Cornwall. Hare is currently a research associate, focusing on economic issues, for the Obama re-election campaign.
