Twenty-two students move up at ceremony on June 7

SHARON —“I’m different now — I am who I am today, not yesterday,” said Anneka Daalhuyzen, essayist at the June 7 eighth-grade promotion ceremony for the class of 2012. Daalhuyzen spoke of her time at Sharon Center School as a metamorphosis.

“I leave these halls a butterfly when I came into them a caterpillar,” she said.

The second essayist of the evening, Glenna Silk, focused on the transition that was to come.
