COPAKE — Nine-year-old Jacob Stickle passed away on Saturday, June 2, after battling terminal neuroblastoma, a childhood cancer.

Despite his illness, Jacob managed to touch members of several communities with his high spirits. He also connected to many with his passion for fire and rescue work and the volunteers who perform it.

The Rev. Bill Mayhew of Faith Bible Chapel in Millerton was touched by Jacob’s ability to bring people together.
