A beauty, a beast, a play

FALLS VILLAGE — The Falls Village Children’s Theater production of “Beauty and the Beast” played to packed houses at Housatonic Valley Regional High School last weekend.

Mairead Hodgkins starred as Belle opposite Alex Pecha as the Beast and Kyler Hall as Gaston, with strong support from the cast.

Elijah Stone was solid as Lefou, Gaston’s confidant and cheerleader. The “Gaston” number, featuring Gaston, Lefou and the Silly Girls, was a crowd-pleaser.
