‘War of Worlds’ dramatized

The Town Hall Players, posing after their curtain call March 24, presented the radio play “War of the Worlds.” The scene was set with the Town Hall theater mostly dark; actors ranged around the audience and flashlights were used to dramatically punctuate screams, sound effects and excerpts from the original Mercury Theatre on the Air production. A portion of proceeds from ticket sales was donated to the Cornwall Food and Fuel Bank.
