MILLERTON —  The dedication of a bench in memory of Millerton native Sandy Berger on Saturday, Sept. 16, at Veterans’ Park, turned into a reunion of family members and old childhood friends who still live in the area. 

Berger was born in Millerton in 1945, the son of Al and Rose Berger, who were the owners for many years of what was referred to in those days as a haberdashery, in the building that is now home to Oblong Books and Music on Main Street.
