FALLS VILLAGE — Track and field is usually a spring sport, but for those athletes who just can’t wait to run, indoor track allows them to keep in shape.

While the indoor track season is mainly about training, there are a few meets over the winter. Most events translate well to the indoor venue, but a few — the javelin throw comes to mind — have to wait for spring.
