BARKHAMSTED — Tobias Calzarette, 17, completed his Eagle Scout project on Saturday, Feb. 26. As part of his pursuit to obtain Eagle Scout ranking, Tobias, who is a senior at the Greater Hartford Academy of the Arts, built an 8-by-10-foot metal shed at the community garden located on Swanson Road.

“The shed went up pretty well,” Tobias said. “I had 24 people help me out to clear out the snow and things went a lot quicker than I thought they would. There was so much snow that had fallen onto the ground that the ground did not really freeze this winter.”
