Siting Council will hear town views on cell tower


FALLS VILLAGE — The Board of Selectmen voted to formally oppose the placement of a cell phone tower on Cobble Hill during the regular monthly meeting Monday, Feb. 14.

Selectman Chuck Lewis made the motion, citing three zoning regulations the tower would violate.

He pointed out that in the town’s guidelines for telecommunications towers, Cobble Hill in particular and Canaan Mountain in general are mentioned as inappropriate sites.
