Siting Council asks tower applicants tough questions

By Patrick L. Sullivan

FALLS VILLAGE — The Connecticut Siting Council held a lengthy public hearing at the Lee H. Kellogg School on Feb. 17 about a cell tower proposed on Cobble Hill road.

The hearing was in two parts: an afternoon session from 3 to 5 p.m., and an evening session from 7 to around 9:30 p.m.

A planned site walk at 12:30 p.m. was canceled because of the deep snow covering the dirt road that makes its way up Cobble Hill from 8 Barnes Road, which is where the tower would be built if approved.
