Roadwork done, sidewalks next

SHARON — The Board of Selectmen announced at a special meeting on Oct. 21 that sidewalk repairs on the western side of Main Street, West Main Street and Hospital Hill Road are scheduled to be done.

The length of sidewalks to be repaired is 1,430 feet. The average width of repairs is 4.6 inches. The project will include fine grading of approximately 120 square feet of broken sidewalk. Debris will be removed by the town. A tack coat will be applied to the asphalt that is already in place and then paved with two inches of compacted Class II overlay.
