Eco Day was observed by students at The Hotchkiss School last Tuesday with a cleanup effort in area towns in two states. Litter and debris were picked up from roadways and the shores of the Housatonic River, more than a dozen fruit trees were grafted by students and transplanted and what felt like miles of invasive honeysuckle vine was pulled up and the plants eradicated.
