Pumpkin Run held without snow

KENT — The 35th annual Kent Pumpkin Run was held on Saturday, Nov. 12. Hosted by the Kent Chamber of Commerce, proceeds from the race benefit the Kent Food Bank.

In addition to the racing competition there were prizes for the three best men’s and women’s costumes. A designated early starter was the “pumpkin man.” Any race participant who caught up to him was awarded a pumpkin at the finish line.

Six hundred and thirty people registered and 341 completed the race.
