PO closing, Lime Rock meetings are coming up


SALISBURY — There are two meetings coming up that will be of more than usual interest to Salisbury residents.

One is a “workshop” session of the Planning and Zoning Commission that will focus on the village of Lime Rock (and the race track there). It will be held at Town Hall on Tuesday, April 19, at 6:30 p.m.

The other is an informational meeting with officials from the U.S. Postal Service about the possibility of closing the Lakeville post office. That meeting will be at Town Hall on Thursday, April 21, 6:30 p.m.
