North East Sunoco: Missed deadlines, illegal operations fuel frustrations


NORTH EAST — Last Wednesday, Feb. 23, attorney Keith Nolan was given a lesson on deadlines. His instructor was none other than North East Planning Board Chairman Dale Culver. The setting? The bimonthly Planning Board meeting that Nolan attended after missing a Jan. 9, 2011, due date, when he was supposed to submit a site plan for his client, GRJH.

GRJH is run by businesswoman Alicia Metz; the company owns the Sunoco gas station and convenience store on Route 44 in Millerton.
