Mosca joins Washington Town Board


WASHINGTON β€” Karen Mosca is the newest member of the Washington Town Board, finishing the unexpired term of Councilman William Murphy. Murphy resigned April 14 from the board.

β€œHe was a fabulous gentleman to work with and he contributed to all aspects of town government and will be greatly missed,” said Mary Alex, town clerk.

Murphy said he left for personal reasons, but did not give further explanation. His term had another two years before expiring. It was his first term as a councilman; he came on the board to fill the unexpired term of Councilman Alan Rappleyea.
