MILLERTON — During its annual holiday party, the Millerton Lions Club declared two Citizens of the Year: Bill Lutz and outgoing town Supervisor Dave Sherman.

“Each year with our Citizen of the Year award, we attempt to identify one or more people who have demonstrated a special commitment to our community,” said Lions President Todd Clinton. “Some volunteers involve themselves in many projects. Others may focus on one area of interest. Each form of service provides vital benefits to our town. This year, the Board of Directors has chosen to commend two such people.”
