Members sought for new EDC

CORNWALL — An Economic Development Commission (EDC) was officially established at a town meeting Oct. 8.

The proposal came from the economic study group that met this past spring, as a need identified by the revised Town Plan of Conservation and Development.

The EDC will be an advisory group, with nine members appointed by the selectmen to serve alternating three-year terms.

A member of the Board of Selectmen will serve as an ex-officio member.
