Mayor discusses school issues with Winsted parents


WINSTED — Mayor Candy Perez fielded questions from parents at a meeting of the Winchester Parent Advocacy Committee on Wednesday, Feb. 23, at Hinsdale Elementary School. She acknowledged that there are still a number of issues to be worked out ahead of the 2011-12 school year.

Perez was joined by 13 other residents who expressed a range of concerns about educational issues in town, with committee chairman Caroline Christensen leading the discussion.
